About Me

My name is Tara and I am a self-employed graphic designer working from my home in Kawerau in the Bay of Plenty. I have over 10 years experience in the industry.

I started out at the New Zealand Herald creating advertisements for newspapers all across Aotearoa. Eventually, this led to being part of a specialised group where we focused on clients that required personalised service for their unique advertising.

After 5 years in the newspaper industry, I was employed by a home shopping company. I designed all of their catalogues, new company logos, stationery, in-house bulletins, posters, company forms and truck sign-writing.

My fiance and I moved from Auckland to Kawerau in December 2014, where we have lived for almost 3 years. I work as a contractor for design companies in Whakatane, as well as freelancing.
